Why I'm trying to build a $1,000,000 company
Every Monday I live stream my progress of trying to build a $1,000,000 company.
You might think I’m doing this because I want to be rich.
Sure, that's part of it, but it's not the reason behind the why.
The truth is I want to be free.
I want to live where I want, how I want, and do work that actually matters to me.
For all my adult life, I’ve given control over the most important parts of my life to other people.
Why?
For money.
I don’t ever want to be in the position where I have to give that power back to anyone else.
To be clear, I totally understand that most of us need to work in some way or another to make money. We all have to do what we all have to do, and I have all the respect in the world to each and every one of you doing what you need to do.
Our world is driven by money. Whether that’s good or bad is up to you. But no matter what you think about it; we can’t escape the reality of our need for money.
And when it comes to making money, we have two choices:
- Give up our freedom to someone else in exchange for money
- Build value and earn it ourselves
One keeps us dependent. The other builds freedom.
Two and half years ago, I made the decision to start earning my freedom.
Yes, I’m still trading my time for money.
In fact, I’m working 5 times harder than I ever have before.
But I can see that the rewards have the potential to change my life forever.
I can create a life where I am free.
And so, the battle continues.

You don’t need to chase millions. But you do need to choose: stay in the game, or build your way to freedom.
